STATISTICS / ESTIMATES
Nα: estimated cumulative births. Nβ: estimated cumulative deaths, calculated as cumulative births minus estimated current population. Nγ: estimated current population.
These are not live measurements. Nγ starts from the U.S. Census Bureau world population estimate and its estimated per-second net change, interpolated only while the page is open. Nα uses PRB's 2022 baseline and the projected increase through 2035 to derive an average rate. Nβ is the difference between Nα and Nγ. The page does not call an external API for these counters.

FORMULAE / TRANSFORMATIONS
A 100-step complex phase orbit. Start with z₀ = r ∈ ℝ₊ and multiply each state by ω = e^(2πi/100): zₙ = ωzₙ₋₁ = rωⁿ. Since ω¹⁰⁰ = e^(2πi) = 1, the closing state is z₁₀₀ = r = z₀, so the same derivation can begin again.
